Michael W. Kirshon

In my role as a Financial Advisor with Platinum Peak Advisors, I work directly with clients and their advisors in the sophisticated use of life insurance in trust and estate planning, retirement planning, and business succession planning. I have been advising clients in legal and financial services matters for 33 years, during which time I have worked extensively with lawyers and CPAs and their high net worth clients.

I began my legal career as a Court Attorney in the New York State Supreme Court, Ninth Judicial District. I later became a partner and trial lawyer in the New York law firm of Satz Kirshon and Rosa, PC, and served as an Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association.

After relocating to Florida in 1994 and earning an advanced law degree (LL.M.) in Trusts and Estate Planning, I became an estate planning attorney with the Miami/Boca Raton boutique tax and estate planning law firm of Tescher, Chaves and Muller. In 1999, I served as General Counsel for TEAAM, Inc., a sports agency representing National Football League players, where I addressed NFL compliance regulations and agent conduct, and advised NFL players on their financial planning needs. In 2001, I formed The Palm Group, LLC, a company devoted to serving NFL players and other high net worth clients in accumulating, preserving and transferring wealth. The Palm Group was later merged with Platinum Peak Advisors, LLC.
